THE CITTADELLA: THE BASTION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE IN MODENA, ITALY<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Description:
\n<\/strong>The GEONight<\/a> will be the opportunity to present to the city the Project THE CITTADELLA: THE BASTION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE IN MODENA, ITALY, in the presence of the Authorities and representatives of all the actors involved, first of all the schools. The project will end inside the only remaining architectural structure of what was, once, one of the bastions of ‘The CITTADELLA’ of Modena. The students will thus be able to describe the project to event participants by experiencing first-hand what they have learnt from the maps, the documentary sources and the exploration of the area.<\/p>\n

Il progetto LA CITTADELLA: BALUARDO DEL PATRIMONIO MODENESE parte, e si conclude, presso l’unico elemento architettonico rimasto a ricordo di quello che un tempo era la CITTADELLA fortificata di Modena. Un luogo di origine seicentesca che \u00e8 importante fare riscoprire all’opinione pubblica poich\u00e9 tracce tangibili della sua memoria sopravvivono nella toponomastica, nelle mappe storiche e moderne, nelle fonti documentarie e in chi ricorda come questa parte della citt\u00e0 sia sempre stata chiamata ‘LA CITTADELLA’. In occasione della GEONight-<\/a>NOTTE INTERNAZIONALE DELLA GEOGRAFIA<\/a>, il progetto sar\u00e0 presentato alla citt\u00e0 alla presenza delle Autorit\u00e0 e delle Scuole coinvolte.<\/p>\n

Main objectives:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Obiettivo finale del progetto \u00e8 stato coinvolgere le scuole in un percorso di (ri)scoperta e di promozione di un luogo importante del paesaggio urbano e del patrimonio culturale modenese. Un luogo che rappresenta l’ultimo baluardo di un passato che nulla ha a che vedere con le trasformazioni e le diverse destinazioni d’uso che l’area ha subito nel tempo e che gli studenti hanno scoperto sia attraverso cartografie, immagini e documenti d’archivio, che partecipando a passeggiate di esplorazione urbana.<\/p>\n
