Short presentation of the event: Are we heading towards a post-pandemic boom period? Join us on GeoNight when we ask our panel of geographers to discuss the role of geography as as we recover from the pandemic.


Dr Vicky Johnson leads the economics line of study across a range of geography modules in relation to the environment at The Open University. Recently Vicky’s research has focused on Covid impacts upon the environment.

Dr Oli Mould is a Lecturer in Human Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London. Oli’s research focuses on the role of urban creativity, activism and politics.

Dr Dianna Smith is a Lecturer in GIS and health geography at the University of Southampton. Dianna uses using GIS to visualise data collected or collated to address key social and spatial inequalities.

Dr Jonathan Reades is Associate Professor in Spatial Data Science at UCL. Jonathan’s research draws on academic theory and quantitative social science methods to address contemporary challenges in urban and regional development.
