Description:

Depending on avaliable spices, the idea is to create a spice map of one continent (preferably Asia). First, students will get small portions of different asian spices and their goal is to find out which spices did they get. After that, they will explore which countries or even regions of the countries are most known for which spice. After that, on A0 size of paper with a map of Asian countries drawn on it, they will apply spices on glued parts of paper. In the end, the goal is to have a map of typical spices for each Asian country or region.

Main objectives:

Learn about different types of spices and apply geographical knowledge on Asian countries.
