GeoNight: Forum of the Sub-Society for Postgraduate Students of Geographical Society of China

The Forum is a long-standing, regular online academic platform initiated and operated by the the Sub-Society for Postgraduate Students of Geographical Society of China. This special “GeoNight” session will spotlight cutting-edge research in physical geography, human geography, and geographic information science. Outstanding master’s and doctoral candidates will present their latest findings, followed by expert commentary and live Q&A sessions, creating a high-quality space for young scholars to showcase their work and engage in meaningful academic dialogue.

Main objectives:

Foster cross-institutional and cross-regional academic exchange among graduate students in geography and related fields;
Build a collaborative research network connecting universities and research institutes through early-career scholars;
Showcase frontier research and innovative methodologies in geography to inspire scholarly passion and scientific creativity.
