Geographers from Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca have focused their research on the effects of climate change on the spatial extensions of glaciers in the Caucasus, as well as on ecotourism and sustainable development. These issues, which address some of the major challenges of the contemporary world in a geopolitically region at risk, will be presented by Iulian-Horia Holobaca, Mircea Alexe, and Ion Horatiu Pavel, professors at Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj Romania.
