Description:

This year, Geonight will be marked by a traveling lecture by Mr. Andrija Jelavić, which will be held at Our Primary School in Marijan.
Through personal experiences and authentic travel stories, the lecturer will introduce us to the magic of the South American continent. Aa a true traveler, Andrija has visited this continent on several occasions, visiting its most hidden and fascinating parts – from Panama, through Venezuela and Colombia, to Brazil, Bolivia, and Argentina. He will present his experience of this unique space, its nature, people and culture to the public as part of the Geonight project, stimulating interest in geography, travel and understanding of global diversity.

Main objectives:

To increase students’ knowlwdge of South Amerika
To broaden students’ knowledge of South Amerika
To develop students’ spatial awarness and global understanding
To stimulate curiosity, critical thinking, and an exploratory mindset
To motivate students to actively learn and explore the world
To improve communication and listening skills
