Summary:
As part of Night of Geography (GeoNight) 2026, second-grade students of Šime Budinić Primary School in Zadar will present an exhibition of their artwork inspired by geography. Through drawings and paintings, students will illustrate maps, natural landscapes, seas and islands, weather phenomena, and places they know or imagine around the world.
The exhibition shows how young students perceive space and the Earth around them, combining basic geographical concepts with creativity and imagination. By expressing geography through art, students develop curiosity about the world and share their perspective with the wider public. The exhibition is open to all visitors and highlights the connection between geography, education, and creativity.

Main objectives:

To introduce young students to basic geographical concepts through creative and artistic expression.
To encourage curiosity about the world and the relationship between people and their environment.
To share students’ geographical perspectives with the wider public during Night of Geography 2026.
