The goal of this workshop is to help students understand what climate change is, why it is occurring, how it affects people and the planet, and what actions individuals and communities can take to reduce its impacts. The workshop promotes critical thinking, discussion, and problem-solving skills.
During the workshop, students will engage in interactive discussions and group activities, analyse real-world data, images, and case studies related to climate change, work collaboratively to explore its causes, consequences, and possible solutions, and share ideas, perspectives, and practical actions applicable to everyday life.
Main objectives:
To enhance students’ understanding of climate change, including its causes, impacts, and links between human activities and natural systems.
To foster critical thinking, discussion, and active engagement by encouraging students to analyse information and reflect on practical actions for climate change mitigation and adaptation.
