On night trails among lakes, forests and hills

Veisiejai regional park is a unique territory in Southern Lithuania, characterized by hilly terrain, extensive forest cover, and an abundance of lakes (there are as many as 37 of them here!). On the occasion of Geography Night, we invite you to go on a night hike and explore the landscape of Veisiejai Regional Park. The approximately 20 km long circular route will wind along forest roads and lake shores, so your feet will experience fun adventures while trying out various landforms. During the hike, participants will learn about the protected areas system and the natural and cultural heritage values of Veisiejai regional park. The hike will start at 7 p.m. at the Veisiejai regional park visitor center (Santarvės g. 9, Veisiejai). We look forward to seeing you there!
