Think Geography – seen beyond the visible

Description:

Think Geography – Seen Beyond the Visible is an interactive educational event designed to present geography in a dynamic and engaging way. Evening When Geography Is Learned Differently brings together students, educators, and curious minds for an inspiring exploration of the world around us. Through hands-on workshops for pupils, thematic stands, drone demonstrations, and informative brochures, participants will discover how geography goes beyond maps and textbooks. The program encourages curiosity, critical thinking, logical reasoning, and a deeper understanding of space, environment, and the visible — as well as the unseen — processes that shape our world. This evening is created for those who ask questions without expecting simple answers, for those eager to connect knowledge with real-life applications, and for everyone ready to see geography beyond the visible.

Main objectives:

Promote geography as a modern and dynamic science, encourage critical thinking and curiosity, develop spatial and environmental awareness, showcase practical applications of geographic knowledge (e.g., drones and geospatial tools) and also inspire students to explore and learn beyond the visible.
