Bike ride ,,Raseiniai: from bottom to the top“

Description:

The landscape of the Raseiniai district is very diverse. It is shaped by high hills, river valleys, forests, and numerous hillforts. The aim of the hike is to connect the highest (173 m above sea level) and lowest (30 m) points in the district via a circular route. The route has been designed to avoid public roads as much as possible. It stretches through forests, river valleys, cultivated fields, and meadows from ŠV to PR. Part of the route passes through picturesque protected areas – Dubysa Regional Park, Pašešuvys Landscape Reserve, and others. The total length of the ride is 222 km

EVENT PROGRAM
17.30 – 18.00 Arrival and registration of bikers at CAFFEINE LT Drive (Verėduva, 60290 Raseiniai district municipality, LKS 6127369 Y: 458106).
18.00 – START OF THE BIKE RIDE.
05.00-06.00 FINISH (at the start point).
The ride will take place in any weather. Cyclists are responsible for the condition of the bike, personal health and nutrition themselves. Food options:
shops: 11 and 38 km;
hot tea and cookies (provided by the organizers): 69 and 87 km;
gas stations: 0, 137 and 191 km.
In case the bicycle or rider is out (doesn't able to continue ride, because technical or health issues) - taxis are available 24 hours a day.
