The event will be: “Live” in presence (if allowed by the covid rules, otherwise it will be online)

Short presentation of the event: Students will make posters for GeoNight 2022 with the theme Living Heritage after the preparatory lectures held the day before and field trips to cultural and natural heritage. During April, 1st, students and teachers would visit the local Ethno Agro Park and the fortress in the presence of revived history and get acquainted with the natural-geographical and cultural-historical resources of development.


Objectives: – get to know the natural and cultural heritage of Kaštela
– to recognize the value of natural and cultural heritage as a resource for tourism development through examples of living heritage
– develop awareness of a sustainable approach to local community development
– encourage teachers of other professions to think about the application of sustainable development goals in their local communities
– popularize geography among students as a science that unites the natural basis and social upgrading

A) presentation of the natural and cultural heritage of Kaštela and the homeland through the design and painting of posters (based on previous fieldwork)

2.  Tour of the historic fortress:
– the importance of the fortress for local and national history;
– the role of the Uskoks and the presentation of knightly skills and struggle
