This interactive event offers a dynamic journey into the world of geography through a series of engaging activities. Participants can take a virtual walk through Serbia’s natural and cultural heritage, test their knowledge in a fun geography quiz, and solve a “fugitive hunt” challenge by applying spatial thinking and geographical techniques. Visitors will also have the chance to explore space using analog GIS tools and witness a live drone presentation showcasing its application in modern geographical research.

Main objectives:

The main objectives of the event are to popularize geographical science in Serbia by sparking public interest and promoting geographical education, particularly among the youth. Furthermore, the event aims to highlight the importance of geography in addressing modern challenges, showcase local scientific research, and foster environmental awareness and exploration of Serbia’s natural heritage.
