📌 Description
Photography is a powerful medium for visualizing and communicating geographical phenomena. The GeoPhotography Exhibition 2026 aims to showcase photographs that capture the dynamic relationships between humans, nature, and urban environments. The exhibition highlights key themes such as environmental sustainability, disaster resilience, urban development, and human–environment interactions.
Through this exhibition, participants will present visual narratives that connect viewers to landscapes, communities, and environmental processes. The exhibition incorporates interactive elements, including linked to voice narratives and descriptions, enhancing the storytelling experience.

📌 Participants may submit photographs under the following themes:
🔸Urban Landscapes & Sustainability – Urban parks, green spaces, sustainable infrastructure, and human–nature interactions in cities.
🔸Natural Landscapes & Disaster Resilience – Coastal zones, flood-prone areas, mountain regions, and drought-affected environments.
🔸Human–Environment Interaction– Agriculture, settlements, resource use, and impacts of urban expansion.
🔸Climate Change & Environmental Awareness – Pollution, waste management, and climate adaptation practices
🔸Cultural Geography & Local Heritage– Traditional architecture, cultural landscapes, and human settlements in harmony with nature.
🎯 Main Objectives
🔸 To visually represent geographical concepts, environmental issues, and human–environment interactions.
🔸 To engage the public with geography through creative photography and interactive storytelling.
🔸 To promote undergraduate student participation and enhance communication skills.
📌 Participation Details
🔸 Open to undergraduate students
🔸 Participants may select a maximum of two themes, submitting one photograph per theme
🔸 Each photograph must be submitted separately via the Google Form
🔸 All participants will receive certificates
📌 Selection Process
🔸 All approved submissions will be displayed in the online exhibition gallery.
🔸 Public voting will be conducted through the official event website.
🔸 The People’s Choice Award will be determined by public voting through the official event website, with the top three most voted photographs recognized as winners.
🔸 The Jury’s Excellence Award will be presented to the top three photographs selected by the Night of Geography 2026 Expert Panel based on visual storytelling, creativity, and geographical relevance.
