Tips and tricks for newcomers to the publishing process
Description:
This workshop is specially developed for early career researchers (ECR) with expertise in Earth Science, and relevant ecological disciplines. Special attention is to be paid to the writing process of a manuscript, creating and editing of science graphics, and communication activities of published papers. The event will start with a presentation and short talks of experienced journal editors, followed by demonstrations. Special attention is to be paid to the best (and worst) practices, dos, and don’ts in scientific publishing.
The event is expected to last up to 2 hours, online.
