How well do you really know the area where you live or work? ‘Think you know your city?’ is an event organized by the University of Perugia as part of ‘GeoNight 2026’ to promote dialogue and discussion on the relationship between communities and their local areas. The initiative involves the active participation of students of various levels with the aim of raising awareness among the population of the potential risks to which the context in which they live or work exposes them every day.
The meeting will be structured around participatory dynamics that will encourage the sharing of experiences, stimulating an informed and critical reading of the local reality. A team of experts will then provide feedback on the content that emerges, integrating it with theoretical contributions useful for interpreting the meaning of the activity carried out.
In this way, the event will combine direct experience and scientific reflection, promoting a culture of awareness and proactive participation on the part of the community.
