Description:

The GNSS Workshop: Principles and Practical Training is an educational event focused on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). GNSS is a technology that utilizes a network of satellites to provide positioning, navigation, and timing information to users worldwide. The workshop aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of GNSS principles and hands-on training to enhance their practical skills in utilizing GNSS technology.

 

Objectives:

participants will learn the fundamental principles behind GNSS and its underlying technologies. This includes an overview of the different GNSS systems such as the Global Positioning System (GPS), GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and other regional systems. Participants will gain insights into the constellation of satellites, the signals transmitted by these satellites, and the methods used for accurate positioning and timing calculations.

The workshop will also cover various practical aspects of GNSS applications. This includes understanding the different types of GNSS receivers and their functionalities and data collection techniques.
