Fossils and landforms on Earth

In smaller groups, students research about individual landforms and fossils on Earth. After that, they sketch the appearance of their landforms on the drawing. According to the drawn template, students create their own landforms with the help of clay. Students make fossils with the help of gypsum and a mixture of water and flour. Along with their works, they write the names of landforms on cards. Students present their work to others.

Participants will be able to:
-describe the creation of individual relief forms by the action of internal forces and external processes

-explain the importance of fossils for studying the geological past, understanding the present and predicting the future
